Synopsis/About:

"The story of my life begins with the history of my country..." A new play based on the epic fiction novel by Julia Álvarez, about the true story of Salomé Ureña. Born in the 1850s, at a time of intense political repression and confusion; With just 17 years old, Salomé's fervent patriotic poems made her a national icon. "In the Name of Salomé" is also the story of Salomé's daughter, Camila, who grows up in exile, under the shadow of the legend of her mother.
